Diagnosis system VAS 6160B
Owing to technical innovations, the ""Premium"" diagnosis system VAS 6160B is the direct successor of VAS 6160A.
The operating system is prepared for ""Offboard Diagnostic Information System Service"" use. Other software systems used in the Volkswagen organisation can be installed.
The diagnosis system can be combined with modular VAS test instrument and diagnostic components.
Two USB connections designed to withstand the rigours of workshop use guard against wear common with standard USB connections.
All of the components of the base unit are protected against vibration and a drop height of up to 90 cm.
Break-proof plastic covers protect all of the interfaces and connections against dirt and moisture, thereby making the unit well adapted to heavy duty use in the workshop.
WLAN-compatibility has been certified by an accredited testing laboratory.
The country-specific versions for Indonesia and Tunisia have no hardware module for WLAN/Bluetooth.
